SÜDVERS International – well positioned for the future with a new Head of International

2021 brings new momentum to the SÜDVERS international strategy and consolidates its orientation towards the future

Kim-André Vives, previously Branch Manager Freiburg and member of the Board of Directors at SÜDVERS, has been Head of SÜDVERS International since 01.01.2021. In this newly created function, Mr Vives is responsible for the expansion of the international business of SÜDVERS International and the strategic development of the WBN – Worldwide Broker Network, which was co-founded in 1989. The new international strategy also provides a boost to the international consulting expertise at SÜDVERS International. “My previous tasks at SÜDVERS have always had a strong international component. So I am particularly looking forward to the new challenge and the support provided by fantastic and experienced colleagues in expanding our existing partnerships worldwide,” says Mr Vives, looking forward to the stronger internationalization of the SÜDVERS strategy.

Mr Vives takes over from Reinhard Riehl, who was Director International at SÜDVERS up until 31 December 2020. Over the past 30 years, Mr Riehl has played a key role in shaping both the international branch of SÜDVERS and the development and expansion of the WBN. With his extensive specialist and industry knowledge, Mr Riehl will continue to be at the disposal of SÜDVERS International in an advisory capacity in his new function as Senior Advisor. “We are very pleased that Mr Riehl, a globally known and very experienced expert in international insurance and risk issues, will continue to be available to us,” Ralf Bender, CEO at SÜDVERS, expressed his satisfaction with the personnel appointment. Christine Schmidt is providing organizational support to the SÜDVERS International team. Ms Schmidt brings her extensive experience, gained over many years as an assistant to Mr Riehl, to the new team.
